WELCOME TO DESERT DOLPHINS
Swim Lessons for Southern Utah
We are a swim school that introduces the world of water to all ages.
Our focus is teaching babies & toddlers to be comfortable, confident, and safe all while having fun in the water. The method we use is the swim-float-swim method as well as various other safety skills with a goal to independently roll over, get a breath, call for help, or flip back over and swim to the side. Once those life-saving skills are learned we progress onto teaching the four fundamental strokes to prepare for swim team and the exciting world of racing whether it be for Club Swimming or High School.
Our goal is to reach out to the community in which we live to teach all that we can how to be calm, relaxed, and safe in the water.
To swim with the water, not against it. To learn indepent life saving skills.

"I am immensely grateful for the incredible impact Coach Nancy has had on my daughter's journey over the past year and a half. In the beginning, my daughter faced challenges, shedding tears during the initial weeks. Nancy's unwavering patience, kindness, and genuine care not only transformed those tears into smiles but also built a strong bond of trust. This trust was evident when, last spring, my daughter confidently and safetly navigated herself out of a challenging situation in my mother-in-law's pool. Nancy's coaching goes beyond strokes; it's about frostering resiliencs and trust in the water. We couldn't be happier with the progress and the profound connection she has created."

"Coach Nancy has been amazing with my kids (6 & 4). My six year old daughter had issues with getting her face and ears wet. We tried two different swim programs without success. I warned Coach Nancy of my daughter's issues and was assured that she would work with her on it. The first week for both kids was a little rough as my son had neer been in a pool without a puddle jumper and my daughter had to get her face wet. After the first 3 days my kids started swimming and floating on their own. After 3 sessions I decided to keep them swimming with Coach Nancy through the winter to keep their skills up. My kids are now learning different strokes and diving from the side of the pool. My daughter hated swim lessons and would go into full meltdown at the mention of it. Now, she LOVES going to swim lessons and gets upset when we have to go home. Coach Nancy was loving, yet firm in teaching my kids to swim. I would highly recommend her to anyone who is looking for swim lessons."
